For the last three years, Groove/Factory has had t

For the last three years, Groove/Factory has had the privilege of being part of @pleinaireaston, the nation's largest outdoor art festival. It starts kick-off weekend, when our summer production goes up and some of the festival's artists live paint the show. This year, that meant "Picasso at the Lapin Agile", joining past productions like "Midsummer Night's Dream", "The Ballad of Jesse Devereaux", and "Streetcar Named Desire". Later in the festival, we're invited to provide costumed models for the "Paint-Ins," giving visitors an intimate look at figure study in action, where technique, observation, and creativity intersect.

This week, that tradition continued at the Waterfowl Building (PAE HQ), where our own Katie Cox, Laura Nichols, and Madeline Megahan sat for a live Paint-In.

Featured artists included @dianeduboismullalyart, @kirklarsenart, and more talented artists capturing every fold of fabric and flicker of expression. Costumes curated by @sweetaliford and @cecilecansee from our very own Costume Shop brought each look to life.

We're always honored to be part of this Easton tradition, and our models are always thrilled to be painted by such skill. Huge thanks to the @avalonfoundation staff, the Plein Air Easton staff + volunteers, and the artists who make this such a joy every year.
