Groove/Factory Brings the Racks Outside for One-Day Costume & Vintage Sale

Easton, MD – For one day only, Groove/Factory is bringing “the racks” outside.

On Saturday, August 8, the non-profit arts organization will host a Costume & Vintage Sale on the lawn of the Waterfowl Building in downtown Easton, offering the public a rare opportunity to shop hundreds of costumes, vintage clothing, and theatrical treasures from its extensive costume collection.

The sale is open to everyone from theatre enthusiasts and vintage fashion lovers to Halloween planners, educators, performers, and anyone who enjoys discovering one-of-a-kind finds. New and seasoned thrifters alike are encouraged to browse the collection and give these costumes a second act.

“The Costume Shop is an important part of the Groove/Factory’s creative mission, and we’re excited to share a piece of our collection with the community,” said Cece Davis, Creative Director of the Groove/Factory. “Every purchase helps support the care and growth of our costume collection while allowing us to continue providing affordable costume rentals, arts programming, and creative opportunities for our community.”

The Groove/Factory’s Costume Shop serves schools, community theatres, performers, filmmakers, and organizations throughout the region with an extensive collection of costumes and accessories. Proceeds from the sale directly support the nonprofit’s mission to ignite creativity, foster community, and make the arts accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.

The event will take place outdoors on the lawn of the Waterfowl Building in Easton. Shoppers can expect a wide variety of unique items, from vintage apparel and period costumes to character pieces, accessories, and unexpected theatrical treasures.
