The Factory presents The Ballad of Jesse Devereux - a live radio play

Overview

By Hensley, Storm & Storm
Directed by Cecile Storm

Leave it to The Factory to provide a new, unique experience in the streets of Easton, Maryland! Join us July 12th at the Plein Air Easton Kick-Off Block Party for a live recording of a new radio play, The Ballad of Jesse Devereux, by The Factory staff writers – Jess Hensley, Cecile Storm, and Sveinn Storm.

The Ballad of Jesse Devereux tells the story of Bonnie – a successful writer in the Wild West – who can only publish under a male pseudonym. As she struggles with writer’s block, her friends offer Bonnie some colorful suggestions… leading a series of strange events to unfold.

This one-of-a-kind experience features music by the Old Dogs ska band, special arrangements & musical direction by Ray Nissen, and Foley sound by Charlie Sarfaty.

The Factory’s exciting, original radio production is made possible with the help of WHCP 91.7 and the 20th Annual Plein Air Festival.

From our hearts to your ears, this program is funded in part by the Talbot Arts with revenues provided by the Maryland State Arts Council and the governments of Talbot County, Easton, Oxford, and St. Michaels.
