SUMMARY:2026 Season Casting Call
DESCRIPTION:The Factory Arts Project is excited to announce a season-wide casting call for our 2026 productions\, produced under Groove Theatre Company\, our latest partnership and new live theatre imprint. This season marks an exciting evolution of our work\, presenting a full slate of scripted productions centered on strong storytelling\, ensemble-driven performance\, and thoughtful collaboration. \nThis casting call will is intended for actors who would like to be considered for particular or multiple productions in our 2026 season. By gathering talent in one setting\, our directors are able to see a wide range of performers at once and thoughtfully consider casting across a season that flows fluidly from show to show. While each production still plans to hold its own show-specific auditions at later dates\, this initial casting call allows our creative team to plan ahead\, identify potential overlaps\, and begin casting conversations early.

SUMMARY:Never the Sinner | March 16
DESCRIPTION:By Tony Award Winner John Logan\nDirected by E.T. Wilford\n \nTrue crime has captivated public interest for centuries\, as people are drawn to the dark complexities of human nature and the shocking reality of violence. This play explores the chilling psychology behind the infamous crime and subsequent trial of Leopold & Loeb. The brutality of the murder – committed with premeditation\, indifference\, and a sense of superiority – reflects not only the horrific nature of the act itself but also the larger questions about morality\, privilege\, and the human capacity for evil. \nThe roles in this play are written in such a way that the audience does not sympathize or empathize with the actions of Leopold and Loeb\, but more to examine why men\, in this capsule of time\, behave the way they do\, and why other men may respond the way they do.
